Kids Worship
Join us on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 4:30pm as we begin a new worship service specially with kids in mind! Pastor Vadis will lead us in worship with special music and instruments. Stay for a pizza dinner afterwards. Please contact the church office with questions.
VBS Summer of 2022
Go off-road for a Monumental adventure through the colorful canyons and sunbaked trails of the southwest. By exploring God's awesomeness, kids form a rock-solid faith for the road ahead.

Godly Play
Godly Play runs September through May. Please join us in person Sunday mornings at 10:10am for a lesson.
During the school year, children ages 3 through fifth grade, meet in the Youth Building to share in Bible lessons from Godly Play. It is a time for wondering, exploring, and hearing God's word in creative, hand ons ways.
Little Gardeners - In the Garden!
Join Miss Cheryl each Friday at 9:00 am on Facebook Live , or in the TLC Garden.
Join Miss Cheryl on Friday mornings in the community garden.
Each week, we'll hear stories, sing songs, try a new activity and tend to our garden plot.
Faith Milestones
We celebrate milestones in our children's lives, Baptism, First Communion, Bible Sunday, Back to School Blessings, Confirmation and Graduation. We help mark each special point along our children's faith journey.
"Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise."

Children's Church
During the 8:30 service during the school year, and both services during the summer, children are invited to have an opportunity to learn a little bit more of each Sunday's Bible lessons. Children leave after the Children's Message and return before Holy Communion.
First Communion
First Communion class is in October for baptized 3rd graders. First Communion will be celebrated the last Sunday in October. Invited to these classes are all children of our congregation age 3rd grade and older who have not yet been instructed in the benefits and meaning of Holy Communion. One or both parents are required to attend these classes with their child. Please contact the church office if you are interested in signing up.
Confirmation
Confirmation Orientation is on Wednesdays, at 6:30pm for all 7th & 8th grade youth and their parents. Please contact the church office at 858-560-8688 or by email tlcsdca@sbcglobal.net if you would like to sign up your child.
