Billy Fallon: Worship Leader – April, 2009 – present.  Billy began his successful music career in high school. Playing sacred and secular music, he has sung and played guitar for hundreds of special occasions. In addition to his music, Billy teaches communication at San Diego State University and conducts communication workshops. He has been the music leader for the GO service since its launch.

So Young Kim: Piano – March, 2010 – present.  So Young began playing the piano at age 7. After 3 years, she took a break until her sophomore year in College. She began taking lessons from Professor Lee by entering the Applied Music Program at San Diego Mesa College. She then transferred to San Diego State University and earned her Bachelor’s in Music in 2014 under the study of Dr. Kolar and Dr. Follingstad. She now teaches private piano lessons in San Diego and Temecula.

Tylor Green: Guitar –  October, 2011 – present. Tylor is a professional guitarist, songwriter, and producer. He has played guitar for 17 years, and has taught guitar, bass, and ukulele for over 10 years. His bands have opened for Rise Against, Fall Out Boy, Sprung Monkey, Pierce the Veil, and more. Tylor’s passion for teaching and modern approach to guitar instruction has earned him positions at local schools such as Sage Canyon Elementary and local studios. His performing and teaching experiences have helped him develop a fun and unique curriculum tailored to the needs of each student. Tylor can teach several styles on guitar, and accepts all skill levels. He specializes in songwriting and music theory.

Oskar Beckmann: Bass – November, 2013 – present.  Oskar started playing guitar at age 9 and decided to formalize his interest in music. He is currently a music student pursuing a degree in jazz studies at San Diego State University. Oskar is a performer in groups of different genres like folk, mariachi, jazz and fusion music. In addition to his music career, Oskar is pursuing a second degree in mechanical engineering.

Stephanie Vadis: Singer – November, 2014 – present.  I grew up singing in the children’s and youth choir at Skyline Wesleyan Church from age 5 through High School. We performed many musicals and also in the Living Christmas Tree production. Music has always been a big part of my life. I feel very privileged to sing with this worship group every Sunday, they are all so amazingly talented.  I absolutely love to sing praises to the Lord

Cheryl Jackson: Singer – December, 2014 – present.  I have been a resident of Tierrasanta since I was about 7 years old.  From the auditorium of Tierrasanta Elementary School singing the “rum, pum, pum” solo from The Little Drummer Boy, to the high school choir belting out, “Oh, Serra, we’re proud of you!” I’ve always been moved by music.  The opportunity to share inspirational songs has been such a pleasure in my life, whether I’m singing at the GO service on Sunday mornings, joining my friend Lesley Alexander at senior centers throughout San Diego, exploring music and movement with the Little Gardeners on Friday mornings, or just sitting with a guitar and singing with my teenage girls.  I enjoy it all, and I feel blessed to have music in my life, giving me joy, a sense of gratitude, and strengthening my faith.
